Who the Heck?
Positivity Club is an indie rock outfit based out of Portland, Oregon and the brainchild of singer/songwriter Tyler Canada. He’s joined by friends and goofballs Sam Stephens on drums, Kevin Swain on bass, and Haukur Astvaldsson on guitar. The band prides itself in crafting gripping earworms that explore the absurd catharsis of being imperfectly alive. They’ve been compared to bands like Bright Eyes and Death Cab for Cutie, with a little bit more of a garage rock tone akin to Nirvana or The Strokes.
Their debut album "Refuge in the Night Shade" premiered began streaming on July 12th, 2024, and includes the singles "Stop So Hard" and "I Will Let You Down" which are accompanied by music videos!
