Who the Heck?
Positivity Club is an indie rock outfit based out of Portland, Oregon and the brainchild of singer/songwriter Tyler Canada. He’s joined by friends and goofballs Sam Stephens on drums, Kevin Swain on bass, and Haukur Astvaldsson on guitar. The band prides itself in crafting gripping earworms that explore the absurd catharsis of being imperfectly alive. They’ve been compared to bands like Bright Eyes and Death Cab for Cutie, with a little bit more of a garage rock tone akin to Nirvana or The Strokes.
Their debut album "Refuge in the Night Shade" premiered on July 12th, 2024. Their newest single "Freezin' (Alternate Version)" is set to release on July 8th, 2026.
